Great day sketching at the fiveways
today, also known as Woolloongabba Village.  The buildings are heritage
listed and it is a nice place to be.  Antique shop, coffee shops, even a
 violin maker.
This
wonderful heritage 1928  listed building has been restored and is a
Multi-use Space for music performances.  music rehearsal space,  and
performance venue. It is wonderful to see these lovely old buildings
re-purposed.   The Substation was originally built as a Tram Substation.
Way
down that road is the Broadway Hotel.  It was not so hard to see from
where I was standing, but what I drew was all I saw of it.
