Sketching at ANZAC Square Brisbane with the Brisbane Urban Sketchers

It was a challenge for sure, as there  were loads of workmen setting up "stuff" for the ANZAC Day Celebrations on the 25th.
I took a half sheet watercolour paper to sketch on, but I really lost the plot, so ended up making a couple of sketches in my sketchbook.  One is over a challenged pencil sketch.  I was really struggling today. :-)

As I was sketching this tree, workmen came along in there truck and cherry picker, and started chopping down branches....
