I took my beautiful granddaughter Elise to Southbank for the day.  We had a lot of fun, exploring, riding the Brisbane Wheel, and playing on Streets Beach.

Sketching at Riverside Brisbane

Fellow Sketch Crawler Alissa Duke, is up from Sydney for work, and we have been meeting at the Riverside Centre during her lunch hour.  It has been fun, catching up, and sketching together..

Sketching at the Home Fest 2012 Brisbane Australia

The group I belong to Drink and Draw had tables under the trees at the Home Fest today.  I went along for 3 or so hours and sketched.

This one, I sketched from a photo on my smart phone.  The rest were done on site.

Sketching at the Art Gallery Qld

Today, I went to the Art Gallery to see the Prado Exhibition.  Before going into the gallery, I sat by the Boardwalk on the river front and sketched the Brisbane City Library on the opposite bank.

Sketching at Shopping Centre

I went down to my local shopping centre yesterday, and sat quietly in Crikko's Cafe sketching folks in the cafe, and walking by.  I even found a likely victim, in the hairdressers too :-)

I was a couple of hours early, seeing as I had to rely on someone to give me a ride to the River Ferry, so I spent the waiting time with quick sketches.
